Do Not Cast Your Pearls Before Swine

Ladies…Do you realize that your purity is sacred?

Virginity is sacred. And for those who are not virgins, renewed purity is sacred. The body is sacred for those of us who are Christians. The bodies of Christians are temples of the Holy Spirit. The sexual favors a woman can give a man, and a man can give a woman are sacred, and only for marriage. We are not supposed to be giving our bodies or sexual favors to anyone outside of marriage.

Matthew 7:6 King James Version (KJV)

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Don’t give your body or sexual favors to those types of men often called dogs or pigs. Those men are the type who want and will have sex with anybody, anytime, anyplace, without love, commitment, marriage, and sometimes even without knowing the person’s name. If they don’t get instant gratification, those men resort to manipulation, guilt trips, emotional/mental abuse, physical abuse, and sometimes even rape. Sometimes even after getting sex, and getting someone’s precious gift of virginity, those types of men will turn against the woman they slept with.

Matthew 7:6 Living Bible (TLB) Don’t give holy things to depraved men. Don’t give pearls to swine! They will trample the pearls and turn and attack you.

If we are Christians, our bodies and sexual favors are holy. Those things are also precious in God’s eyes even if people are not saved. Something is depraved about the types of men mentioned about that are referred to as dogs or pigs. There is also something depraved about the types of men who enjoy watching strippers and porn stars or having sex with prostitutes. The sex industry may pay a lot of money easily and quickly, but God didn’t create our bodies for that.

Matthew 7:6 New International Version (NIV) Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.

Real pigs are not like Miss Piggy on the Muppets who values pearls and puts them on her neck. Real pigs will trample them, cover them in the mud and slop in the sty, etc. That’s how those men called dogs or pigs treat the sacred bodies and sexual favors women give them. Those types of men abuse women who sleep with them, take them for granted, don’t appreciate them, and really work them over leaving the women feeling worn and torn, and no good.

I want to add a couple disclaimers. I know that there are a lot of good men out there who love and value women. Real men of God know their purpose and the purpose God created women

for. God created all men and all women good and in his image. But sometimes men get bound in sin, and can act like dogs or pigs. I only use those terms because of the scriptures given. I don’t label men as dogs/pigs. I don’t see them that way.

I do not want any brothers who may read this to be offended.

It is not my intention to sound like a chauvinist or anything not of God. I just want to encourage ladies to be mindful about who they have sex with, and to realize the value and sacredness of the bodies and sexual favors that are only for our husbands.

I also mentioned various types of abusers and warned ladies not to get involved sexually with those types of men. However, I want all victims of abuse or rape to know that it is never your fault even if you made a bad decision.

I believe that there is redemption and healing and restoration in Jesus. Men who act like dogs or pigs can be saved and delivered. Women who have been abused, used, and broken by them can be healed and delivered. God can purify and restore anyone who has fallen into sexual sins or any other sins.
