Don't Give Up Your Purity Or Integrity Now. You Have Come Too Far.

God gave me a powerful word yesterday morning after watching a news story.

A man was in prison and about a month from being released on parole. He escaped recently and has been on the loose in NJ. When they capture him, he will have to do 3-5 more years in prison. He was about 3-5 weeks from freedom and now facing 3-5 more years. He did so well. He completed most of his sentence successfully. He was so close to the blessing of parole. God spoke to me and gave me a powerful Word from this to share as a social media blog.

Sometimes we are very close to getting a blessing or breakthrough. We have been waiting on the Lord for a long time. When God is about to do something, the devil starts tempting more and more. But we have come to far to give up.

An example is those of us who have been holding onto virginity for a long time. We are waiting on God for those promised spouses. Right when God is about to bless us, the devil will lie and say we will never get married and will die a virgin if don't fornicate. The devil will start tempting us with men that are no good and not for us. He will say just go ahead and have sex and babies before we get too old.

But God says we have come too far to give up something so precious the wrong way.

Read Psalm 37 and know that God will bless us in His time.

Or maybe it is something else you are waiting on God for like a financial blessing. After waiting a long time, the devil may be tempting you to get money the wrong way.

Even though you are weak and weary, don't throw in the towel. Hold onto Jesus, your purity, and your integrity.

When that escaped prisoner is found, he will face a lot of consequences. He could be in a lot of danger if he is found and does not peacefully surrender. He should have just held out and waited for those last few weeks of his sentence. It WAS NOT worth it to escape.

Sin has a lot of consequences. It is not worth it to let go of God's hand.

Don't throw in the towel. Hold onto your virginity or second chance purity.

If you have used the Bible and Holy Spirit to help you deal with life, don't start drinking, smoking, doing drugs, or doing sexual sins just to escape.

It's NOT worth it.

And if you have messed up, do like the escaped prisoner needs to do and surrender to Jesus.

You are too close to your blessings and breakthroughs to turn back now. You have done well for so long.
