Why Christians Should Not Watch Or Promote Things Like The Wiz

My spirit is really heavy right now.

God is speaking to my heart and spirit and saying to share this.

I read a Tweet on Twitter by a sister in Christ who is a minister who is promoting the latest version of The Wiz as a good show:( Some people at a church service I was at recently were doing the same :(

We as Christians need to stop viewing and listening to such things and calling them entertainment, cute, good, etc. witchcraft is abomination to God and dangerous.

I know I have already discussed Halloween on some social media things like this I'm on. I won't revisit that right now.

But I will say that we need to start avoiding and taking a stand against other things on TV. movies, songs, games, etc.

Some examples are: Michael Jackson's Thriller, Harry Potter, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, Aladdin and The Lamp, Broom Hilda, The Wiz, The Wizard of Oz, Chronicles of Narnia, The Hobbit, Gremlins, Poltergeist, Ghostbusters, Casper The Friendly Ghost, The Munsters, The Addams Family, horoscopes, zodiac signs, ouija boards, 8 Balls, fortunes in fortune cookies, psychics, etc.

I'm not trying to sound all perfect and holier than thou. I used to enjoy some of those movies and TV shows. But PTL for deliverance.

These things are not cute, innocent, or harmless. They can lead to demonic oppression. But even if not, God still says avoid this stuff.

And re: Casper the "Friendly" ghost, the only TRUE friendly and good ghost is THE HOLY GHOST.
